Studies show that video content generates the biggest return on investment. This means real estate professionals would be wise to consider using video to market their listings, and drones can help them create stunning video footage.
In fact, one study suggests that a professionally shot video on a landing page can boost conversions by as much as 80 percent.
Given the importance of location in real estate, drones can help show off the surrounding area with a bird’s eye view and given potential buyers a general vibe and feel for the neighborhood. Agents also can use drone footage to highlight a property’s relationship with the entire community.
Before incorporating drone footage, however, agents must remember that drone operators must be licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration. They should also understand safety concerns and not potential problems, such as power lines. The law also prohibits drone flights within five miles of an airport.
